ALA TIANAN is a clothing concept; it’s a playful, critical experiment in clothing fabrication, cost, and function – inspired by the controversial issues of value and affordability in fashion. It was started by Tianan Ding, who graduated from the Royal College of Art.

ALA TIANAN pushes the limits of fabrication through the use of reinvented techniques. Most products have been designed as metaphors; we see clothing as an art medium created for real life and real human beings.
ALA TIANAN’s clothing stories embody the intention to dissolve the value, to make nothing into something, or take nothing and make something of it.

Through elevating the disposable, underrated, unusual materials' “value”, or their imagery as the symbolism, to rethink the value system. Running under the core "Revalue", which stands for the de-centralised fashion and taste, the mentality of reversing the norms, and the no-waste methodology.
